What is a Chromebook?
A Chromebook is a lightweight laptop that uses Chrome OS as its operating system, as opposed to Windows or Mac OSX. Programs run via apps, similar to an iPad, and documents and apps are stored "in the cloud." They do not store files on the hard drive like a traditional computer.
Since Chromebooks store files in the cloud via Google Drive, students are capable of accessing their work from almost any device.
